My path hasn't been linear. As a third culture kid, I grew up bouncing between Hong Kong, New York, and Vancouver - always translating between worlds. I started as a lawyer, became a founder, then an early-stage investor at an institutional VC in Singapore, and most recently spent the past couple of years as a corporate strategic investor in San Francisco. This unconventional journey gave me a unique vantage point on what actually works - and what doesn't.
